Pop icon Madonna took over The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her latest album Rebel Heart.
For Thursday night’s episode, Madge teamed up with the comedian and his in-house band The Roots for a classroom cover of her 1983 hit “Holiday.” In the clip, the crew, dressed in Hawaiian shirts with Madonna wearing gilded jewelry, performed the song using a plastic xylophone, rattles, and other percussive instruments.
Also during her guest appearance, the 56-year-old transformed Fallon’s section of 30 Rock into a live production of her Nicki Minaj-assisted “B**ch I’m Madonna.” The lyrical assassin was unable to make a cameo due to her ongoing The Pinkprint Tour, but Madonna managed to recruit the song’s producer Diplo to spin on the 1’s and 2’s.
The performance kicked off with Madonna in her dressing room, before she danced through the hallways and made her way to the sound stage, where she interacted with the audience and dropped a high-energy dance routine with her troupe of male dancers.
